Hiring the homeless is exploitation?

What is up with all of the bullshit about the “exploitation” of homeless people by hiring them as mobile wifi spots at SXSW. The more I think about this, the madder I get. Apparently, if a homeless person shows any initiative, they somehow become victims. I’m afraid that this is indicative of a sea change in our culture. One in which everyone is entitled whether or not they contribute anything to the common good. This kind of logic is fucked beyond all reason.
